• Managed operations of $45M Grand Turk (www.grandturkcc.com) development project consisting of 2-berth pier on a 37-acre facility with a $4M annual operating budget• Oversaw storm preparations for numerous tropical storms and hurricanes including category 1 hurricane Hanna and category 4 hurricane Ike which struck Grand Turk within two weeks of one another in the summer of 2008.• Managed $10M recovery project and began renovation efforts within 24 hours of Ike's passing including temporary housing units for contractors and meals for 250 people 3 times a day resulting in reopening of the port in 31 days thanks to the dedication and combined efforts of the team.• Collaborated with Turks & Caicos Islands government as CCO’s representative on issues related to tourism, island infrastructure, public health and security• Led communications with USCG and British Royal Navy to coordinate special port calls to GTCC• Supervised 67 full-time direct and approximately 340 indirect employees• Managed 1,000 feet of beach resort, 52,000 square feet of retail space with more than 40 tenants including the largest Margaritaville in the Caribbean• Certified as a Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) and ensured port’s compliance with International Ship & Port Security (ISPS) regulations
