I am currently a 3rd year student of Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, studying Business Management. Though I only work part-time over the summer season, I help manage daily operations for my family's automotive business. My typical tasks throughout the workday include interacting with customers on the shop floor, managing appointments, placing work orders with local shops (such as Advanced Auto Parts), issuing payments for parts orders and bills, and organizing receipts and necessary deposit information.The most valuable skill I have learned both at university and in the workplace is managing customer information and payment orders through our shop's spreadsheet/payment application. Being able to provide customers with information about their vehicle repairs and payment orders from any date allows me to relay information with mechanics that can diagnose possible solutions to their current vehicle issues.
