For 5 years (1983-1988) I was vice President of Mineraria Silius SpA the largest fluorspar mine in Europe (>100,000 tons acid grade spar per year). Subsequently worked as MD and President for 15 years (1988-2002) of Fluorsid SpA, which under my tenor became the largest inorganic fluoride producer in the western world. From 2002-2016 director of Printemps Limited China, and exporter of fluorspar (>700,000 tons) and AlF3 (>200,000 tons) from China and sold fluorine chemical technology ( AHF,AlF3, LiPF6) into China. In 2018 I founded Interfluor, a specialty consulting and management firm in the fluorspar and aluminium fluoride industries. Currently, I am developing a Mongolian fluorspar mining activity with the potential to export 40,000 tons of CaF2 from 2021.
