Took the plunge into his own business in 1990 (MAR/CSD), a system development company, which he ran and operated with his wife Marie They grew the business and incorporated as Ricciardi Technologies, Inc. in 1992. Ricciardi Technologies, Inc. provided Engineering, Consulting and Program Management Services to Fortune 1000 Business and Government agencies. Customers included IBM Federal, CACI, Loral, Lockheed Martin,BAE, L3, Raytheon, Northrop Grumman, SRC, and Exxon/Mobil, as well as the DOD, DHS, DTRA and DOT. The company's specialties included Embedded System SW and HW, as well as Enterprise System Integration and CBRN Defense Systems. Ricciardi Technologies, Inc. was merged into Science Dynamics ( a public company) in 2006. Michael became the COO of the consolidated public entity, while Marie took over the subsidiary business The Domenix Corporation and provided consulting to Science Dynamic and eventually Lattice. At Science Dynamics Michael helped in the transition, consolidation and re-branding of the various divisions into one unified company with one mission (Lattice). Due to differences in strategy, Michael resigned his position one year after the acquisition and reunited with Marie at The Domenix Corporation in late 2007.
