My responsibilities include collaborating with K-12 instructional staff to support their use of technology in the delivery of curricula through a variety of instructional methods. Create learning resources for teachers, staff and students. Structure the technology education of teachers and administrators. I coordinate instruction to meet technology proficiency goals and introduce 21st century skills as related to ICT and digital literacy. Identify trends in software, curriculum, teaching strategies and other educational areas. Assess and monitor technology skill levels of students, teachers and staff. I also coordinate the technology budget for the district including E-Rate.

The President will be the principal executive officer of the organization and will, in general, supervise and control all of the business and affairs of ACTEM.The President will schedule all meetings and identify their location.The President will preside at the meetings of the members and will perform allduties incident to the office of President.

As the Technology Teacher/Integrator at the Mildred L. Day School my responsibilities included teaching technology classes and working with staff members on integrating technology pieces into their curriculum. I provided professional development for staff members around technology. I developed lesson plans and assessment materials that follow the Maine Learning Results, handouts for staff and students, and maintain the district’s website and electronic mail services. I served as the school’s Teacher Leader for the Maine Learning and Technology Initiative. I served on a variety of committees for the school and the district, which included writing grants, developing action plans, and developing leadership qualities.
