Identified opportunities to make sustainable changes throughout the operations of Asia’s largest Marriott. Initial focus was on food waste and solid waste stream.Key achievements:• Completed Sustainable Event Professional Certification.• Built in-house food waste tracking system that allowed culinary team to see what was being wasted and take action. Was operational in main restaurant (Goji) and in the midst of implementation at other outlets when Covid19 halted operations.• Identified areas to reduce excess food production.• Tested food waste digesters (converting waste to compost).• Created new food waste collection process to improve efficiency and reduce use of plastic bin liners.• Completely rewrote SOPs for waste management (for whole hotel).• Drafted new floor plan for waste management building.• Persuaded Events team to stop plastic water bottles for MICE.• Started Rooms / Housekeeping on the process of replacing in-room plastic water bottles.

Created Thailand’s first all natural juice and smoothie brand; grew Twist from suburban juice bar to include catering and wholesale units with a city-centre retail outlet.• First to market with cold pressed juices and implemented eco responsible practices, from compostable packaging to non-toxic pest control methods.• Led all aspects of building the brand from logo and marketing materials to product development, logistics and sales. • Raised 2.5 million THB for expansion.• Supported community sports leagues for kids.

Provided copywriting / editing for hotel clients as well as event planning and management for small groups.

Pioneered Thailand’s indoor advertising sector with the launch of POV Media. Managed the entire roll out of the indoor-billboard networks (1000+ billboards) followed by the initial LCD display network; nearly 100 screens up and running in 16 weeks.Steered the business through rapid growth; led the venue acquisitions and sales efforts. Trained the sales and operations teams, allowing POV to withstand competition and become acquired by VGI Global Media.

Managed the Thailand operations of regional travel portal ZingASIA.com. Oversaw the launch of both the Bangkok and Phuket sites, ensuring consistent quality of the locally produced editorial content while maintaining cost control, identifying revenue opportunities and expanding brand awareness.

Oversaw final construction, opened and ran the flagship Thai store. Despite the Asian economic crisis, successfully increased sales 16% annually by improving stock management and purchasing procedures.

Directed national promotion campaigns for several of the label’s artists; achieved unprecedented radio airplay and chart success for emerging artists such as The Subdudes, Patty Larkin and Timbuk 3.Highlight: Conceptualised and produced a live radio broadcast for High Street recording artist The Subdudes that aired on nearly 100 radio stations (via satellite) from coast to coast (USA).Note: Windham Hill / High Street Records were acquired by BMG Music Group in 1996 and then BMG merged with Sony Music in 2007-2008.

Primary communications contact between the radio station and the record labels (Jazz programming only). Reviewed new releases with the Jazz Music Director and together selected new and established artists that helped our listeners truly experience and appreciate the Jazz genre.

Filmed on all the major studio back lots (soundstages) as well as on locations all over Los Angeles; from the slums of downtown to the high desert, from the hotel where Bobby Kennedy was killed to the famed LA beaches as well as locations in Indiana, Ohio & Florida. Productions included feature films, cable & network TV, commercials, music videos & even the video segment for a theme park ride.
