Michael Rincon is currently the Director of Policy and Research at Physicians for Social Responsibility-Los Angeles (PSR-LA). Michael also leads PSR-LA's Clean Water Program which focuses on drinking water issues and disparities that plague communities across the Los Angeles area, and in California.Aside from his experience and knowledge on California water policy topics, Michael has also worked on other environmental justice and public health issues pertaining to hazardous waste and cleanups, chemical manufacturing and safer consumer products, California energy production policy, microplastics, pesticides and manufacturing, and nuclear abolishment.Prior to PSR-LA, Michael was the Environmental Policy Analyst with Committee to Bridge the Gap, a nuclear policy organization. Prior to that, Michael was the Assistant Energy Projects Coordinator for the City of Santa Cruz.Michael is currently pursuing a Masters in Public Policy at the University of California, Los Angeles, focusing on Environmental and Public Health Policy. Michael currently holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, with a focus in Law and Policy, and a Sustainable Engineering minor from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
