I studied medical technology at the University of Applied Sciences in Linz and came into practical contact with the approval of medical devices during my doctoral thesis at the Paracelsus Medical Private University. The performance of pre-clinical tests and clinical investigations represented an essential part of my work. The development and approval of high quality medical devices has been my professional passion ever since. Over the years, I have assisted companies in the medical device industry in the area of clinical evaluation within the regulatory context of the Medical Device Directive (MDD) and Medical Device Regulation (MDR). This often includes planning and conducting clinical investigations as well as performing systematic literature reviews.Bringing innovative and beneficial medical devices to human application is the major driver of my professional activity.
