I utilize my unique experience as an attorney and CPA in order to counsel clients and develop practical, cost-effective solutions that will minimize risk. I also negotiate and draft complex contracts, assess whether corporate actions comply with federal, state and local regulations, and manage litigation.I counsel corporate clients on matters involving government relations, administrative law, business torts, contract law, director and officer liability, employment law, environmental law, fiduciary duty, fraud, personal injury defense, product liability, professional liability,real estate and toxic torts.I have represented corporate and individual clients in state and federal courts, and in arbitrations and mediations. I have conducted administrative hearings with the USEPA and the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.I represented a plaintiff survivor and the estate of two deceased persons who perished in a low-income apartment building fire in a personal injury/wrongful death action. I settled that case for $8,000,000, one of the largest settlements in the state for that year.
