My current role is as a business analyst working within the Regulatory Projects team.I am the data sourcing global testing lead for the Global CIB LOB for a multi-year project migration project of data into a single strategic data hub. Main duties in this team are as follows:• data sourcing testing lead of all CIB trade and processing data to ensure that the data is complete and accurate• creation of test cases to be performed for all of the releases • working with source system SME to ensure that the proposed operating models work in an efficient manner when data is released into production• liaising with global counterparts in the APAC, Europe, LATAM and US regions discussing testing processes undertaken• liaising with CIB product control teams to discuss opportunistic benefits of data warehouse• liaising with downstream users of data who will utilise the data warehouse for Regulatory Reporting purposesIn previous roles in the bank I have worked in Financial Control and Product Control functions which covered large areas of month end and quarter end external reporting, closing out the ledger at month end and dealing with the front office traders to ensure that the financial reporting is accurate and complete.
