Joined Yahoo as part of the Xobni acquisition.Contributing member of the team delivering the Xobni Smartr Contacts experience as a replacement for Yahoo Contacts. Developing front-end code using Node.js, Express, Handlebars, and YIU to provide an enhanced contacts experience for over 100M Yahoo users globally.

Engineering leader responsible for setting strategic direction, defining priorities, and executing a product roadmap in a dynamic start-up environment.• Shipped and maintained Smartr Contacts iPhone application, which was directly responsible for growing the user base by over 500K users. It was a top featured app by the Apple App Store.• Served as the primary driver of strategic partnerships with large Android handset manufacturers and major US carriers. Currently on track to deliver a unique Xobni experience deeply integrated on these devices that will increase penetration and distribution to an estimated 5M users.• Drove adoption of Agile methodologies and continuous integration practices. Setup a Jenkins based CI and build system for all client products.• Contributed to the iOS, Android, and Node.js codebase. Implemented features, fixed bugs, and drove product designs and reviews.

Engineering team leader for the award-winning webOS operating system from inception through 3 major product releases. Delivered innovative user experiences and capabilities for nearly every shipping application on this platform.• Shipped all core applications on webOS 3.0 for the HP Touchpad tablet.• Served as the overall development lead for webOS 2.0 which shipped on the HP Pre3, HP Veer, Pre2, and Pre Plus. Coordinated the efforts of all application, platform, and Linux kernel teams.• Responsible for many of the core applications that were included in webOS 1.0 which shipped on the Pre, Pixi, Pre Plus, and Pixi Plus Smartphones.• Drove the development of the Palm Synergy TM solution for integrating data from many online properties into a single integrated view on the device.• Served as the engineering POC for all strategic partnerships including Google, Amazon, YouTube, Yahoo, Facebook, LinkedIn, Adobe, and others to deliver their applications and services within webOS.• Directly managed an engineering organization including managers and individual contributors.
