Data Scientist and Researcher interested in leveraging data-driven insights to decarbonise our towns and cities. My current expertise include time-series modelling, regression analysis, computational causal methods, geospatial modelling and tree-based machine learning. I recently completed a PhD in migration studies, where I employed statistical and machine learning methods to examine the long-term labour market experiences of UK migrants, and how these experiences are influenced by features in the local environment. I also published 2 research articles (2 more currently in review) and produced additional analyses for external stakeholders at the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) and Chilean Department of Immigration and Migration (DIM).Prior to my PhD, I worked as Geography Teacher in East London, where I was responsible for managing the time, behaviour and long-term progress of 200+ students across range of ages and abilities. In this role, I delivered learning outcomes for up to 150 students a day, equipping me with strong time-management, communication and leadership skills. Outside of work, I also co-founded a running club in 2020, where I created and organised virtual, multi-day running events, co-ordinating teams of ~20 people and raising more than £5000 for educational charities.Moving forwards, I'm interested in developing methods, technologies and policy that improve the capacity of our urban environments to mitigate and adapt to climate change.
