Working as Operations Manager for the market leading cashless parking provider in the UK, supporting the RingGo and Parkmobile brands. Providing 2nd line support within SLA timelines for 190+ local authorities and private operators during normal office hours and also out of hours via an on call rota. Responsible for incident management, maintaining the live production environment, enforcing the change control policy to ensure only authorised software and hardware changes are put live in a controlled fashion. Working through planned schedules to ensure all production servers are patched regularly and keeping internal documentation up-to-date with regards failover procedures. Ensuring that all client accounts are reconciled on a daily basis and then again at month end to allow the finance team to invoice the client base in a timely manner.

Working as an Operations Analyst within a growing business providing first and second line support to 100+ clients, across 5 active products. Responsibilities include financial reconciliation of 200+ accounts on a daily basis, actively monitoring systems to identify faults, raising new feature requests and bugs with the development team and seeing them through to the live environment. Additionally, working towards team objectives to increase payment success rates across our products and working with the development team to automate time consuming daily tasks. This role has allowed me to develop my SQL knowledge as I am running SQL queries on a daily basis. The role also requires that I go on to the out of hours support rota where I provide support 24/7 on a call out basis.

Taking part in the Getronics apprenticeship scheme that allows me access to various areas of the business thanks to the range of placements on offer. To date these include a 6 month placement on the 1st line support team at Centrica, working within the Opportunity Management team administering the SAP CRM system & working for Barclays 2nd line support team in Poole. Finished top of the year in the final apprenticeship assessment.

Daily duties include answering the phone, logging the post in Microsoft Access, typing various types of correspondence in Microsoft Word, scanning and archiving correspondence in Laserfiche (document management system) and ordering various items over the internet or by phone and fax.
