- Work at Lockheed Martin facilities as a contractor- Prototype and test network devices including, but not limited to, Cisco Nexus/Catalyst switches, Juniper switches, Mellanox switches, HPE/Plexxi switches, CiscoFirepower and ASA firewalls, Fortinet FortiGate firewalls, Quantum SANs, Artesyn CoreProcessing and network blades, Themis servers and latest Intel processors.- Prototype and test real-time hypervisor virtualization product from Real Time Systems- Prototype virtualization products, such as VMWARE, NUTANIX and KVM- Research, design and implement network solutions for new products such as switches, SANs,processing blades and servers, to replace devices that are Diminishing Manufacturing Sources(DMS)- Configure Cisco switches utilizing vPC, Spanning-tree, PIM, IGMP, RIPv2, OSPF, and EIGRP protocols- Configure Juniper QFX switches in an HA environment utilizing their Virtual Chassis technology, as well as MC-LAG- Configure Mellanox switches with newest Onyx OS utilizing MLAG+MAGP configurations- Prototype and experiment with new technologies, such as SDN with HPE/Plexxi switches in a full meshed, fabric network, Dockers containers, Kubernetes, Nutanix HCI, VMWARE NSX and vSAN, Ansible, OpenShift, CentOS and RHEL 7.x- Create scripts to automate deployments and update processes- Test network requirements utilizing devices that include, but not limited to, Wireshark, iPerf and Spirent network emulator- Provide documentation for network test results and design architecture including, but notlimited to, Port Allocation Assignment (PAA), network topology diagram, and spreadsheetsproviding failover and latency test results- Work with Linux Redhawk in a virtualized environment modifying kernels and Grub menus.Install RPM packages and update boot configuration files.- Research, review and modify requirements for network infrastructure as needed for new and/or next in migration devices
