🔝 As the Chairman of the Israel-Kazakhstan Chamber of Commerce, I'm on a mission to strengthen trade relations and foster innovation between our nations. My journey, which began with a finance and marketing degree from Tel Aviv University, has taken me through various leadership roles - from Iskoor Metals Ltd to public service in Tel Aviv-Yafo, and even as Chairman of HISTADRUT.🤝 My role as Deputy Mayor of Tel Aviv-Yafo led to the historic sister city pact with Almaty and the transformation of Jaffa into a cultural gem. Since 2005, I've spearheaded projects that blend Israeli innovation with Kazakhstan's dynamic landscape - think tomato paste factories, advanced irrigation tech, and boosting medical expertise through collaboration.💧 Since assuming leadership of the Israel-Kazakhstan Chamber of Commerce in 2005, my focus has been on launching pioneering projects that leverage Israeli technological prowess for Kazakhstan’s benefit. These ventures—from establishing manufacturing plants for tomato paste and refrigerators to introducing groundbreaking Israeli drip irrigation technology—underscore our commitment to mutual growth. Collaborating with Kazakhstan's Ministry of Health to enhance medical professional development epitomizes our holistic approach to partnership, one that encompasses health, innovation, and sustainability.Our efforts to transfer Israeli water management technologies to Kazakhstan are emblematic of our broader objectives. Addressing water scarcity, enhancing agricultural productivity, and promoting sustainable practices through Israeli expertise in desalination, water recycling, and advanced irrigation techniques represent our ongoing commitment to both nations.
