• Responsible for manning all assigned vessels in accordance with the Government regulations, trade union agreements, flag state requirements, and Torm policies and procedures• Responsible for recruiting competent and experienced crew to the satisfaction of stake holders.• Responsible for the assessment and performance appraisal of officers and ratings for necessary recommendations.• Manage team’s activities to ensure achievement of individual and team KPI’s.• Ensure all internal processes are documented in Quality Management System QMS. Continuously improve the processes aimed to increase efficiency, quality and cost effectiveness of Marine HR Manila. • Ensure that the organisation is always prepared for operational internal and external audit/s.• Responsible for the effective administration of operational budget including cost control are maintained for all vessels under the responsibility of Torm Philippines.• Establish good working relationship with stakeholders, customers and government bodies.• Represent Torm at various maritime forums.• Effectively strengthen and maintain a closer interaction between colleagues at sea and shore• Monitor, motivate, coach, assess and develop team.

Responsible for manning Maersk Line's Singapore, Hong Kong , Marshall Island fleet and all SAMMAX/WAFMAX new buildings for 2010 and 2011.Responsble for the welfare and planning rotation of 900 international officers from UK, India, Myanmar, Singapore, Malaysia, South Africa, Netherlands, China, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Croatia, Russia, Latvia and Philippines.
