CurrentProvide supervision, management, and administrative support to the Cybersecurity and Vulnerability Management programs consisting of government employees and contractors working in various geographical locations focusing on cybersecurity and vulnerability management.Provide weekly briefings to executive management or updates on security assessments, highly visible common vulnerabilities, and threat, and mitigation methods and progress. Automate reporting by using PowerBI has increased reporting time to several minutes from several hours.Coordinate and lead cybersecurity assessments including scheduling, planning, coordination with team and system owners and determining type of assessments. Have increased assessments by 130% using more defined planning process and risk matrix. Reviewed budget for contractors and job functions and was able to cut budget down by $4 million by re-defining duplicate rolls. Coordinate with FBI system owners and Information System Security Officers for the onboarding of the scanning responsibilities from self-scan to enterprise vulnerability scanning program per policies, executive orders, and binding operational directives. Have increased the systems onboarded 25 – 30 additional systems per fiscal year by refining the onboarding process and assigning a specific onboarding roll within the team.Follow CISA updates and alerts to stay informed of new or reprising vulnerabilities and new persistent threats that may impact FBI information systems and report those to OCIO management with remediation plans.
