• Responsibilities included ensuring successful operation of the agency, including program departments and directors (Sports, Recreation, Fitness & Wellness, Children & Youth, Camp, Adults, Seniors, Special Events), membership, accounting, and fundraising and development• Supervised 7 full-time and over 40 part-time staff members• Created the JCC’s first ever program guide to market programs to the community• Supervised grounds maintenance department including softball field, multi-use fields (soccer, lacrosse, football), playgrounds for all ages and outdoor pools• Partnered with graphics design department to create marketing and promotion plans for community-wide activities and events serving 5,000+ community members• Prepared $2.5 million budget• Developed and implemented staff training procedures including orientation, in-service trainings and supervisory and annual staff meetings• Lead staff person for multiple fund-raising events with a combined $50,000 in revenue

• Developed and maintained $3+ million budget• Co-directed fund-raising for JCC Maccabi Games and ArtsFest participants and event• Supervised and managed a staff of 13 full-time and over 100 part-time employees• Directed the operation and maintenance of multiple health and fitness facilities• Collaborated with multiple community agencies to launch childhood obesity prevention program for more than 75 4th and 5th grade students with partner hospital in Baltimore• Lead the operation of the Health and Fitness department including fitness, group exercise, sports and leagues, summer day camp, aquatics, tennis program, pre-school physical education classes, Health Club and babysitting• Reviewed payroll for all full-time and part-time health and fitness staff bi-monthly• Worked closely with membership department to recruit new members and retain current members through customer service programs and new membership sales and promotions
