I worked grave yard shifts during the evening and went to school during the day. I would operate the store solo for one hour and then close the store in order to clean and restock everything. I would then reopen the store an hour before departing in the morning. I would conduct transactions with customers during hours of operation and once closed I would clean all drink machines and restock all merchandise and supplies.

I began my experience at Sandia Peak Tramway by starting as a cabin operator. I was in charge of passengers on board the tram and would give guided tours and answer questions about the mountain, as well conduct minor first aid. Later on I gained experience and began working overnight shifts as an upper terminal operator. During this time I would conduct loading procedures and crowd management, along with customer service relations, ticketing, janitorial, and communication. At times I would need to coordinate with supervisors, EMS, Search and rescue, and Ten 3 Employees in order to help coordinate trips and supplies up and down the mountain. Certain times required driving around the mountain in order to gain access to the upper building due to windy conditions, while other times required customer supervision during emergency shuttling from the top to the bottom of the mountain via company vehicles.

My time spent working at Michael's involved working as a member of a team. At first I began as a cashier, but later moved on to working on the sales floor. On the sales floor I would clean and stock the areas or I would help guests with their projects by giving suggestions of products they could use. I would help teachers with projects for their students, adults making gifts for parents or friends, and artistic creators.

My time spent at ARC Marketing was enlightening. I would conduct company meetings briefly in the mornings and then move to different locations each day. I would conduct roadshow sales at Walmart around the Albuquerque area. At each one I worked on the Safelink team and would attempt to give out free phones to anyone could qualify. The program required certain low income programs such as EBT, Section 8 Housing, Medicaid, and a few others. Over the course of my employment I worked with many great people and learned many skills, but unfortunately I did learn that because of physical traits most people do not want to buy anything from me; no matter how hard I tried, if I had assistance, or if i changed my voice or tone people would not want seek to speak with me. What I did notice was that if anyone had problems with the program, getting their phones, or even general questions about Walmart; then people would flock to me quickly. I found that helping solve peoples problems was more aligned to my personality and style compared to selling things to people. While my time spent at ARC Marketing was short I learned many skills that have seeped into my professional persona.
