Executes Operational Test Management for AATC in support of the HC-130J/CSAR division.

Executes Operational Test and Evaluation in support of the Air National Guard Air Force Reserve Command Test Center (AATC); HC-130J Combat Search and Rescue CSAR) division.

- Provide technical expertise for existing T-1 and permanent modifications and other non-standard aircraft/mission systems.- Provide technical and engineering services for upgrades and integration of block cycle updates.- Conduct training for aircrew and maintenance personnel, as required.- Perform field level diagnostics and repair components, as necessary.- Update existing software and load new versions for all T-1 systems and computers.- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair/replace Electronically Linked Mission Overlay (ELMO) and SOF Air Mission Suite - Enhanced Situational Awareness (SAMS-ESA) computers.- Perform preflight operational systems checks.- Support all launch and recovery operations.- Configure system components for AOR operations and interfaces.- Handle Communications Security (COMSEC) and ensue proper codes are available for missions.

As a member of the Challenger program at the Tucson Business Aircraft Service Center, Avionics Technicians duties include, Troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, modifying and servicing aircraft avionics, electrical and electronic equipment. Performing and documenting all work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required.

Coodinates logistical support, planning, and execution for Operational Testing for EC-130H and HC-130P aircraft valued at $2B. Performs reliability and maintainability data analysis for aircraft testing. Manages, installs and operated instrumentation to collect sperctral/weapon systems performance data. Enforces policies, resolves support issues, processes personel actions and executes operations.

Managed ground test teams during operational testing of various aircraft systems. Monitored spectrum analyzers, UHF/HF/VHF radios, instrumentation trailers, erected antennas, built/repaired cabling, and gathered test data for analysis.

Supervised, trained, and instructed maintenance on electronic warfare systems for specially modified EC-130H aircraft. Used support equipment and built-in-tests to verify system operation. Isolated/repaired malfunctioning line replaceable units in accordance with technical/safety directives. Maintained detailed maintenance logs.

Operated/maintained the tactical ground intercept facility and the maintenance system evaluaiton module. Performed pre-flight operational checks of the system, loaded software, performed performance checks and monitored the status of the 38-processor system. Isolated/repaired system failures. Coordinated with contractor maintenance as needed.
