Operations Manager
CurrentManage 1,200+ accounts in one of the fastest-growing territories within RTI.Recruit, hire, train, manage, and retain an effective team of qualified technical and distribution personnel.Directs, guides, evaluates, manages and motivates employees under his/her direction.Responsible for development, motivation, and strong leadership of new products, promotions, and procedures related to the success of the individual location.Performs periodic site visits to ensure products and services meet standards and customer expectations.Ensures RTI quality standards are adhered and enforced.Work collaboratively with SalesForce software to meet customers needs.Leads the coordination of customer service activities of the Depot location to install, service, maintain, and repair at the customers locations by leveraging Depot employee resources.Builds daily service schedules for Technicians to ensure Productivity goals are met or exceeded while achieving the highest level of customer satisfaction.Effectively manages distribution employees to ensure the customer receives prompt oil deliveries and Productivity goals are met.Keep records of work hours performed for both Technicians and Drivers using RTI software systems.Leverages Management Operating System (MOS) to develop Strategies that support a Continuous Improvement culture.Ensure adherence and compliance with all internal processes and procedures as well as local and federally regulated requirements including DOT, OSHA and HACCP.Maintain inventory management by receiving incoming orders and shipping outgoing orders. Monitors on hand inventory as well as part movements to and from customers. Every month run a cycle count to keep an accurate inventory.Exhibit effective time and task management skills with ability to meet daily, weekly and monthly timelines.Effectively prepare, train and execute a SPCC plan if necessary to contain inadvertent spills.
