As a co-op student, I gained valuable hands-on experience in the field of IT. I created in-depth queries using the SAP Business One platform and crafted insightful reports for sales projections and current sales analyses. I identified bottlenecks and inefficiencies, implementing solutions that enhanced processes flow and work quality. Additionally, I developed VBA macros in Excel to save time and effort in data sorting. Notably, I successfully linked an Excel spreadsheet to the SAP Business One database, saving significant daily labour and streamlined an important scheduling task. I actively participated in large IT projects, including cloud app implementation, and researched modern processes used by competitors to ensure our practices remained up to date. My contributions helped our company grow through technology.

I had the opportunity to work a CO-OP with an experienced development team, gaining insights into IT development. My tasks involved data processing using Excel macros, creating SQL scripts for database entry, and automating data collection into emails and documents. I learned to enhance GUI screens with various functions and data fields, run effective database queries, and troubleshoot issues. Additionally, I contributed to logic in VB, updated XML files, and participated in testing and debugging. This experience broadened my understanding of data collection, database usage, and diverse data presentation techniques.

The job consisted of prepping cooking stations, cooking and plating meals as well as cleaning the station each shift. This job tested my ability to work under stress as orders came in, I was also fully responsible for keeping my station fully stocked in preparation for orders. I was given many closing shifts where I was tasked with cleaning all appliances, labeling all food items, and shutting down appliances after closing. I was known for being highly focused, dependable, and hardworking, often called on for extended shifts and or extended hours while on the job.
