About Michael Runyon

I help make cool things. Software Quality Assurance Engineer with experience testing a variety of unique and awesome products. Some of these products include the Essential PH-1 and GEM mobile devices, Skydio S2 & X2 autonomous drone Consumer and Enterprise applications, OSOM OV1 mobile device, a home automation/alarm platform from Simple Things, and the rabbit r1. I have experience in functional testing during new feature development, regression testing of existing features, and compatibility testing of application and web platforms across multiple devices and browsers. I also have experience working closely with Product and Design teams, scrubbing PRDs and ensuring that gaps and edge cases are discovered, discussed, and accounted for during the development process. In my spare time I am continuously adding tools to my QA tool box. As of this moment, I am currently working through a Python Bootcamp and playing with Appium and XCode to start my automation journey.
