SOFTWARE ENGINEER II | NOVA BIOMEDICAL • Waltham, MA Software Engineer II responsible for the development of Nova Biomedical’s NovaNet patient data management software, software defect management, and enhancements. C# and .NET Framework 2.0 through 4.5, Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), Sybase 12.• Collaborated with a team of developers utilizing C# to architect and implement a unique installation application that allows proper custom setup of the NovaNet patient data management software suite for communication with Nova Biomedical’s series of blood gas analyzers. This application and suite of tools is used to track, report and monitor patient test results within heath care facilities and intranet networks. This includes encryption and decryption of any patient data transmitted within these networks. • Developed User Guides and Software Design Specifications for software applications.• Interacted with support technicians to resolve customer concerns.

Research and Development Software Engineer responsible for design and implementation of software, repair of continuance defects. C++, C# and Visual Basic 6.0. • Works with a team of developers utilizing Visual Studio 2012, C#, Visual Basic, C/C++ to maintain, modernize and develop new and existing technologies for EZCare VITALTouch NurseCall products. This suite of applications and tools are used to track, report and monitor patient needs and care within heath care facilities.• Adapted and modified legacy software operating on Windows XP platform to run on Windows 7 platform using Visual Basic 6.0 and C#, which extended the product lifecycle of EZCare VITALTouch, Sentinel, and Executone; three consecutive generations of NurseCall. • Implemented the design of new Real-time locating systems (RTLS) to work with multiple vendors, track physical and personnel assets to help health care facilities reduce costs and increase potential Tyco sales client base.
