Responsible for a successful business turnaround at a 46 year old semi-private club which had just come out of foreclosure and had been taken back by the lending institution. In the first year increased golf memberships by over 40%, revenues by 21% and earnings by 36%. This quick recovery facilitated the sale of the property by the lender in July 2011 at a sales price of over $1 million higher than was offered 2 years prior.

Developed and managed business operations at Arizona’s first indoor golf entertainment centers. Opened 2nd location within 18 months of original store opening.

Mesa, Arizona

Accountable for operations management and profit/loss responsibility for a 27 hole, semi-private facility conducting over 85,000 annual rounds with financial goals consistently achieved. The growth and popularity of the facility built a loyal and thriving customer base. Multiple expansion projects took place during this 20 year tenure. The largest was designing and overseeing the construction of the 18 hole championship golf course in 1995-96. This was followed by a redesign and rebuild of the original 9 hole executive golf course. Also acted as chief consultant for the design and planning of the new 30,000 sq.ft. clubhouse, restaurant and banquet facilities. Ultimately the property grew from a 9-hole executive course to a 27-hole, national award winning golf retirement community.
