My role within the analysis group is being responsible for providing market analysis and trading support to traders, contract negotiators, finance and management to assist and enhance trading decisions. My other roles include being responsible for the decisions that drive retail pricing strategy and product development, the analysis and pricing of new contracts, as well as ensuring these products are correctly valued and represented within IT systems for external financial reporting requirements.• To develop and refine methods of short-medium term price forecasting utilising a variety of techniques including deterministic and stochastic models, and the impact on behavioral economics (including technical analysis). • To lead in the development of new financial metrics such as scenario analysis and dynamic financial analysis of the UK portfolio• To lead in the valuation and analysis of any complex products and provide opinion on their management and make recommendations.

My role within the Credit Risk Team was to lead and manage a project designed to rate the creditworthiness of our counter parties. The companies were rated on a number of accounting measures including - Liquidity Ratio's, Debt to Equity, Price to Book and many more. The project was undertaken to analyse the impact that the Market Crash of 2008 had on SP's counter parties.The analysis was based on a Standard and Poors credit model.
