I also assisted with customer support and problem diagnosis and product repair as well as zOS problem determination.

CtoKnowledgeware Apr 1985 - Dec 1992Maple Ridge, Bc, CaAs CTO at KnowledgeWare, I was responsible for initial development and ongoing delivery of the Information Engineering Workshop (IEW) and Application Development Workshop (ADW) products. I managed R&D, advanced technology, and product strategy. At KnowledgeWare we worked with the first protected-mode and first windowing systems for the IBM PC, beginning with Beta versions of Windows 1 and including Digital Research GEM, Windows 2 and 3, Windows NT, and OS2/Presentation Manager. I built the first product prototypes built on windowing system code in early 1985; we extended PC DOS architecture to include swapping and the Intel AboveBoard (bank switching memory) before the advent of 32-bit architectures. -
