CurrentSite 2 (08/15 - Current) - 99/121 KHS - I'm part of the Core 1 building security team at 99/121 Kensington High Street which is a listed building and is home to Sony Music, Warner Music (Finance), Equinox Gym, Babylon Restaurant and The Virgin Rooftop Gardens.Site Updates -(as of January 3rd 2018 Babylon restaurant & The Virgin Rooftop Gardens unfortunately closed down)(As of July 2022 Sony Music have left the Building & moved to King's Cross)Site 1 ( 05/14 - 06/15) Land Securities - At the Headquarters of Land Securities Group plc, the largest commercial property development and investment company in the UK• Patrolling assigned areas and carrying out perimeter checks to ensure the protection of vistors, property and equipment.• Assessing the security needs of an emergency situation and enforcing rules and regulations and acting accordingly.• Make accurate administrative records and maintain confidentiality of all security related material.• Calmly directing people who cause a disturbance to leave the property and reporting any suspicious activity to the police.• Verifying identification to insure only authorized persons are premited upon entering and exiting the car park and premis.• Assisting and answering queries from members of the public and occasionally administering first aid to members of the public who have been injured.• Monitoring and responding to CCTV, intruder detection and responding to staff calls for assistance.• Specialized in house training in identifying suspicious behavior, hostile reconnaissance and what to do if near and or under fire.• Additional training in the 5 C’s of IED’s, Vehicle searching (2 man), BATF Explosive Standards and Equality & Diversity.• Checks & Faults with all FA panels/switches & testing, Emergency exit doors, lights & phones and CCTV & equipment. (Basic training for correct PPE)
