I obtained my first teaching position in the fall following my graduation from Shippensburg University. Benjamin Tasker, the largest middle school in the state of Maryland, is centered between Baltimore and Washington D.C. The three years I spent teaching there endowed me with a wealth of information and know-how in a vast range of disciplines. I also worked as a team leader and acting vice-principal over this duration. These responsibilities allowed me to practice and refine my interaction and communication skills with both the students and parents.
