Served as senior advisor to the Ambassador and Country Team for all special operations efforts in Lebanon. Exercised oversight of all special operations forces (SOF) inside Lebanon's highly sensitive and complex environment. Led the development of multiple training programs in support of the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF), to include standardization and professionalization efforts for both Lebanese SOF and conventional forces. Led the integration of Military Information Support Operations and Civil-Military Operations (CMO) into LAF efforts and worked directly with the U.S. Country Team and Lebanese Ministry of Defense to tailor equipping and training efforts to optimize the LAF's ability to meet current and emerging threats, both from internal and external sources

• 21 World Class Teams (Green Berets) • 10 Countries • 300+ Combat MissionsCommanded a 436 person Special Forces Battalion comprised of three Special Forces Companies, Headquarters Detachment and a Support Company. Plan, prepare and execute Special Operations in support of specialized, sensitive operations in the Middle East and on the African Continent. Trained and employed 21 Special Forces cross functional teams Unconventional Warfare, Direct Action, Foreign Internal Defense, Special Reconnaissance and Counter-Insurgency activities. Simultaneously maintained specialized capabilities in language, Advanced Special Operations, Close Quarter Battle, Desert Mobility Operations, Mountaineering, Underwater Operations, and airborne (parachute) infiltration methods.
