At M4ME, our goal is to give artists a place to grow and mature in their craft while honing their skills without the pressures of a major label. While showing the utmost respect to our artists and their ability to earn a living with music, we also give them a mechanism to give back through our fundraising efforts for the Macy Easom Cancer Research Foundation.

M4M is a celebration of the life of Macy Easom and her love of music. It is a competition but more than that, it is an educational endeavor that allows aspiring and amateur artists to hone their craft in a safe environment with mentors that genuinely care for their growth as artists. As described in the Summary Section - there was always the music!I have been singing all my life; as a singer/songwriter and as part of a band. As I grew into adulthood, I continued as an artist and eventually, a producer. As an expression of my faith and my desire to share that faith, I've spent most of my life in some capacity as a worship leader. Sometimes as part of a team, sometimes filling in for others and sometimes as a staff member of a church. I've been privileged to share the stage with grammy and dove award-winning artists and I've been just as excited to sing with those who simply want to 'make a joyful noise'.I love all kinds of music. I feel so blessed that, combined with MECRF, it is now not only my passion, but also my vocation.

Following a long family tradition, I joined the USAF and became a member of the 5th Combat Communications Group - the 5th MOB. During my enlistment, I was privileged to serve in Desert Storm as both a communications technician and a courier.The next step on my journey took me through the Federal Aviation Administration and an Engineering position with Lockheed-Martin, where I learned network installation and maintenance.Finally, I was invited into the Financial Sector into sales and executive positions that eventually encompassed networking and data security fields, distributed computer systems, communications and teleinformatics.After a few years of Consulting work, I put a period on this wonderful career and began to focus my attention on a growing passion for raising awareness and funding for childhood cancer research.
