I am a Juris Doctor graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Law, where I pursued my passion for litigation and dispute resolution. Prior to law school, I served as a senior intelligence analyst in the United States Air Force for over a decade. Throughout my legal education, I was a Pathways Intern (SLIP) at the United States Dept. of Justice, Criminal Division, Fraud Section, where I supported trial attorneys in areas of health care, market integrity, and major frauds. I also externed with Hon. Frank D. Whitney, W.D.N.C., and Hon. Richard D. Dietz, NCCOA, drafting opinions while gaining valuable insights into the judicial system and the rule of law. Most recently, I interned at the Wake County District Attorney's Office, where I applied my legal skills and knowledge to assist prosecutors in various stages of criminal cases, from pre-trial motions to jury selection, trial advocacy, and conducted several bench trials. Through these experiences, I developed strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills, as well as a keen sense of ethics and professionalism. I am eager to leverage these skills and experiences to serve the legal community and the public interest in a different capacity.
