Michael is a partner and Department Co-Chair of the Commercial Leasing Group at Minden Gross LLP. Michael's practice focuses primarily on commercial leasing transactions, including drafting and negotiating retail, office and industrial leases, ancillary documentation and due diligence projects for both landlords and tenants of all sizes, including national landlords, national and international retailers with locations across Canada. Michael also acts for individuals and corporations on real estate transactions and various commercial matters.Michael is an active member of the ICSC and was the co-chair for the 2008 and 2009 ICSC Canadian Law Conferences. Michael has participated as a member of the Program Planning Committee for the annual ICSC Canadian Law Conference, as well as a moderator, panelist and co-chair of the breakfast roundtables. Michael has participated as a panelist in Osgoode Hall Law School’s continuing legal education seminar “Negotiating and Drafting the Commercial Lease”, Lorman’s “Basic Commercial Leases” and seminars presented by Lexpert, CRIS-CROS, the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Canadian Bar Association.
