Worked with a team of other students to greet prospective families, admitted students, and new staff and faculty to Carnegie Mellon University. Provided information and answered questions regarding our different schools, opportunities and campus life.

Enrolled in a 5-year accredited architecture program working on a range of projects that investigate building performance, material explorations and questions of accessibility. Outside of my core curriculum I have taken courses with the Human-Computer Interaction Institute, School of Design and School of Art. I have also held positions in our Freedom by Design chapter, the American Institute of Architecture Students, inter•punct, Lunar Gala and Phi Delta Theta PA Rho.

Teaching Assistant for course 48-215 Materials & Assembly. Helped to introduce the relationships between design, materials, performance and their assemblies to Second Year students. Covered topics such as building codes, regulations, envelope systems, and performance systems.

Participated in a variety of residential and cultural project proposals, design packages, detailing, and administrative practices. Taking the opportunity to work with this firm over two summers allowed the opportunity to engage with two projects from their early schematic phases through construction administration and into occupancy.
