I assisted the Print and Pattern team with production of future collection samples. Assisting with color matching to standard, emailing vendors overseas, and attending meetings regarding allocation were a few of the tasks there. I also used excel and was able to chart and file folders to obtain better organization.

Create and assisted with design and color work for current and future collections. Maintained pre production samples and made sure merchandise comes back to standard.

I helped customers gain a knowledge of the brand while assisting them shop. I also worked the register and did packing and shipping. I also helped with visuals such as mannequin dressing, window displays, and maintaining the stores image. Throughout working there I was able to interact with the district manager, regional visual manager, and met people in sales and product development at the headquarters.

As an intern at Studio Four NYC, I developed and designed bespoke rug patterns for private clients. I also assisted in package construction and shipment for customers and design firms. Maintaining the websites store as well as their sample stock were also part of my job.

Creating purchase orders, style numbers, as well as attending meetings and appointments were a few things required throughout the Buying Internship. Working in the home department, I was able to help select new accessories and decor for current and future seasons. Understanding the buying side of business and observing the structure of the company were benefits to the position.
