Managed growth performance at Cal, UCSB:- Oversaw Growth Strategy as it related to hiring, customer acquisition funnels, strategic local partnerships, brand and image.- Set individualized data-driven customer acquisition and order goals (daily, monthly and quarterly).- Oversaw and approved all marketing efforts and spend.Managed UT Austin store launch: - Sourced and Interviewed over 40 prospective Admiral candidates to lead the UT store.- Hired, on-boarded and trained a staff of 15 Racers (delivery associates).- Attended to all final state-inspections, and made necessary adjustments to internal and external facilities- Devised a pre-launch marketing campaign consisting of Social Media and targeted Guerilla marketing.- Led largest store launch in Duffl history, receiving 187 orders on launch day, and bringing the store to 80 orders a day consistently within the span of 2 months.

Summer Training Bootcamp:- Led the organization a 2-week training camp for 15 Admirals (store-level student Managers) from our 7 store locations. This included over 20 comprehensive virtual training sessions and a 1-week onsite trip to LA for in-person training on the content delivered.On-site Growth Team trip: - Traveled to 6 store locations through the month of August, for each store’s respective launch week.- Constructed personalized marketing calendars and growth strategies for each campus. - Coached Admirals on leadership, team-management, and other critical soft-skills.

Duffl is a 10-minute student-run delivery service. By leveraging the knowledge and network of an entirely student workforce, we deliver groceries, munchies and other student essentials to your doorstep in under 10 minutes.A Y-combinator graduate, Duffl is a Series A startup that has raised over $13 million in capital thus far. The company currently operates 7 retail storefronts in 3 states, including UCLA, USC, UCSB, Cal, UofA, ASU and UT Austin, employing well over 250 students across these locations. As an EA my role encapsulated:- Shadowing the CEO closely to gain critical decision-making context.- Compiling minutes and notes during leadership meetings.- Managing calendar and setting appointments, meetings and interviews.Drafting action based proposals including but not limited to:- A robust store-specific marketing calendar framework.- A Talent Pipeline proposal regarding store level positions, descriptions and responsibilities.

A General Analyst for UCLA's premiere student-run Venture Capital organization which works with VC firms and field experts on startup related projects and events.Completed a comprehensive training quarter which exposed me to the worlds of venture capital and private equity. Throughout the training process, concepts including cap tables, VC firm functions, due diligence and market research were covered extensively. Throughout the quarter, I also compiled three comprehensive investment theses studying Series-C startups and their potential for growth.Selected as 1 of 11 members from a candidate pool of over 100 applicants in the Winter quarter of 2022

Startup Labs is a 10-week accelerator program hosted by Bruin Entrepreneurs every winter. Through this program, applications are open to all UCLA student with any type of startup pitch, at any phase of development. A handful of startups are selected and are then put through a 10-week program where the team receives a mentor (usually from the VC and startup field). Teams are also connected with VC firms in their related fields, receive business model advice and office space, are connected with other organizations on campus and receive weekly seminars which all work towards facilitating the growth and development of their startup.

I was selected to join the board of Bruin Entrepreneurs (BE), UCLA's premier student-run entrepreneurship organization. Specifically, I work on the Startup Labs initiative as a Marketing and Operations specialist.

Along with 4 other undergraduates, we represented UCLA on a national stage at the Venture Capital Investment Competition. VCIC is the world's largest venture capital competition with over 120 university and graduate school teams competing. It acts as a unique event in which students emulate the life of VC firms, bringing together top students, visionary entrepreneurs and successful VCs. I successfully helped in leading the UCLA team to a 2nd place position in our regional bracket, the highest placement in UCLA's history participating in the competition.

I participated in an internship at Al Ahli Bank’s main headquarters in Amman, shadowing the chairman of the board of the company, Mr. Saad Mouasher, in addition to visiting multiple departments including:- Corporate banking department- Small and Medium business department- Risk management department- Investments and Venture Capital department

Following a rigorous application process, I was selected to take part in a training program facilitated by the Arab Banking Corporation (ABC Bank), one of the largest banking institutions in the Middle East. A “brain-drain” combative initiative, the program brought together 15 highly talented students from five countries in the MENA region including Jordan, Bahrain, Algeria, Libya, and Egypt. The 4-week program was held at the Bahraini Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF). During the program, we completed a team-building and communication workshop, a critical thinking course, an analytical writing course, and, lastly, we went through a 2-week Charted Management Institute (CMI) course in order to achieve official level 3 certificates in first-line management (which certifies individuals to efficiently lead teams of up to 6 individuals).During my time at the BIBF, I was also exposed to the neo-banking revolution and the impacts of artificial intelligence and blockchain on the world of banking and finance.

The Automechanika Frankfurt is the world’s leading trade fair for the automotive service industry. In 2016 and 2018, I attended the Automechanika in Frankfurt, Germany. I visited the fairs as part of my internship with Michelin Group in Amman Jordan.During these visits, I sat in on meetings with industry leaders and representatives from companies including Michelin, Zahnradfabrik Friedrichshafen (ZF), Bosch, Sachs, Tip Top, Mahle, and Lemforder. These meetings revolved around annual commercial and sales plans for Jordan, Lebanon and Iraq in terms of sales targets, marketing and setting Key Performance Indicators.

I Interned at the Michelin Tires dealership in Amman Jordan. During my experience I alternated between multiple departments covering the following:- Warehouse logistics: Assisting with loading and unloading containers, inventory control, quality/quantity checks.- Logistics: Participated in the process of order-placement, shipment-tracking, clearance and customs-management, and the local distribution process to branches and dealers.- Human Resources: conducting comprehensive employee satisfaction and happiness surveys, brainstorming and implementing ideas to improve employee experience.- Customer Service: greeting customers, collecting comprehensive customer feedback on service and overall experience.- Finance & Market Analysis: participated in market-mapping, including discussions of market sentiments, promotional campaigns. Also participated in meetings regarding monthly, quarterly and yearly targets. - Marketing & Social Media: was exposed to social media marketing, Facebook and Instagram advertisement and customer engagement methods and targets.

I interned at Khalifeh & Partners Law Firm with the intention to explore the field of law in Jordan. - I visited several courts around the capital city of Amman.- I sat in on and took notes on multiple hearings.- Alternated between corporate law and litigation departments, with a focus on the Jordanian labor laws aimed at employee-protection.
