As Business Development Lead at the Center for International Health, Education, and Biosecurity, I was proposal manager or lead writer for funded proposals worth ca. $175MM over five years, and I facilitated over $300MM increased projected funding from 2016 to 2022 by creating an effective planning and writing process. I was accountable for the final quality of all proposals and accompanying documents, accountable to develop a five-year business plan with a team of country directors in 2018, and helped to expanded our portfolio of funding from CDC HIV cooperative agreements to pending USAID and NIH grants and contracts including coordinating an IDIQ with Chemonics worth max $600M/5 years. I also directly managed two of the programs I proposed and designed as a Technical Project officer.I bring this experience to my work as a consultant and to any other prospective employment, being familiar with all steps in the proposal process and the major players in public health, and being experienced in rapidly producing clean and compliant documents and designing effective health interventions.I am a Director of the Jonas Salk Legacy Foundation. I currently collaborate with NeuroVigil, other organizations, and private clients for business and program development and proposal writing in biotech, medicine, global health interventions, and sustainability.
