In addition, created Win Wrap Basic scripts for KTM recognition (classification/separation/extraction) and validation. Setup several locators (e.g. AZL, TGL, SE, and others) for Access Number/Account Number extraction, Knowledge Base Learning, custom Stats and “dynamic” form recognition utilizing several techniques (e.g. barcodes, form layout, content, instructions). In addition, created all design, release and business documentation for the release.

Responsible for all phases of a project to capture meter forms for a large energy company using Kofax Capture 10.0 and KTM 5.5. Responsible for project planning, analysis, development, testing and training. Setup several batch classes to handle various document types received from scanners, email and fax. Scripts (win wrap basic) were developed to classify, extract, verify and route documents based on document types and extracted index data. The system was setup to use Kofax Import Connector 2.3 for import (fax and email), SharePoint Export Connector 8.3 to export and Kofax Search and Matching Server (SMS) to auto index documents. In addition, developed C# scripts to get/set data to/from Web Services.

Received CIP and CDIA+ certifications and currently in process of obtaining Kofax certifications. Reviewing Capture 10.0 and KTM 5.5 in preparation for KC3 certification exams and contracts with several clients for the next several months.

Responsible for designing, implementing, testing and documenting the scanning process at Rabobank Netherlands. The system is based on Oracle Distributed Document Capture (ODDC) and Oracle Universal Content Management (UCM) and is designed to handle multiple scanner types, including MFDs, millions of documents and 35,000+ users. All major components are included in the system including ODDC, Commit Server, Recognition Server and Import Server. Custom scripts were developed to integrate with 3rd Party authentication tools and to create documents based on custom barcodes. In addition, the system integrates with Siebel and Oracle Universal Content Management.

Responsible for the project management, analysis, design, implementation and training of an Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solution based on IBM's Content Manager, Document Manager and Records Manager. Successfully implemented Phase I for Purchasing to manage all bid requests, contracts, grants and waivers for the department. Successfully implemented all objects (desktops, actions, dialogs, notifications, lifecycle services, cache services, etc.) based on IBM Document Manager. In addition, successfully implemented a scanning process (KOFAX) for existing Sex Offender records and completed the analysis and design documents for fleet management Vehicle Use Agreements (VUA). In addition, responsible for implementing an ongoing scanning process utilizing the Statewide 500+ Multifunctional Devices (MFDs) with GlobalScan (2.04 and 3.1) to scan and index all department documents to Content Manager. Responsible for the delivery of a SharePoint portal to meet ISO 9000 standards and to manage all company information mostly focused on Sales (I.e. RFP process and contacts), Projects and Time Management. The portal was designed to manage all information related to company activities. Analyzed the requirements of the business, documented the current process ('As Is') and the future process ('To Be'), and worked with the programmers to implement the solution. Growth Management (PGM)Responsible for all technology decisions for the scanning, indexing and storage of various-sized documents ranging from page applications to building plans. Over 100 workflows were identified, analyzed, and created electronically to facilitate a streamlined process. Electronic signature capture and workflow was used to reduce the time needed for processing. Distributed scanning from 4 remote sites and the downtown head office was implemented to improve audit time constraints and accountability.

Responsible for the implementation of an Applicant Tracking and Imaging System to scan, store, retrieve and route millions of documents via electronic workflow. An automatic workflow routing process was implemented that alerts the CSO staff of applications received for review and testing of applicants. The system allows the CSO and the county agencies to securely share applicant and job information via the County network. Applicant status letters are auto-generated once the review process is completed. Full reporting of applicant and job information was developed. The new system streamlines the application processing, resulting in an efficient filling of job positions while significantly reducing departmental costs. It replaced the Civil Service Office's previous mainframe applicant tracking system and paper job application submission and distribution process.

Provided a document management system for the archival and retrieval of birth certificate applications, death certificate applications and medical payments over 5 locations in Broward county. Analyzed the current business process rules and recommended a system using Optix document management software. Performed all project management activities related to the project including scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation and oversight. Worked with upper management at the BCHD during all phases of the project to assure a successful project. The system was designed, tested and delivered on schedule and within the budget allotted extending a 100% satisfaction delivery and approval rate with our customers. The users were trained and complete documentation was provided to BCHD.

Provided a document management system for the archival and retrieval over the web of all documents related to the Florida Department of Revenue Child Support Enforcement Automated Management System (CAMS). The project was a multimillion dollar project to build an automated system to provide child support enforcement in the State of Florida. Analyzed the current business process rules and recommended a system to track the documents using Optix document management software. The system was designed, tested and delivered on schedule and within the budget allotted. All index and search screens were created using Optix for archival and retrieval via the Intranet. Designed the tables for the system, and trained the users. Full documentation was provided.

Developed an automated process for generating and monitoring contracts for the various projects initiated by the council. The system includes processing contracts, deliverables, and invoices using workflow. Processes were developed to create the contracts from Word Templates and automatically index, store and initiate workflow processes with a click of a button. All deliverable information from the system was pulled via bookmarks into the contract to automatically create the cost of the project. Systems were developed to verify all deliverable amounts with contract amounts.

Provided a document management and workflow solution to streamline the equipment acquisition, maintenance and disposition process at Hillsborough Fleet Management. Analyzed the current business process rules and recommended a system using Optix document management software. Integrated signature capture software (ApproveIt), form software (InputAccel) and Optix to capture data and electronic signatures, and index and store with a click of a button. All paper forms (Fuel Key, Rental Car, Birth Certificate and Equipment Disbursement) were converted to electronic format for automatic indexing and archival. Rules were added to the system to automatically start a workflow depending on certain data entered on the electronic forms. The workflow was initiated with no human intervention.

Designed and developed a complete web-based and palm-based inventory tracking system for the Florida Department of Education. The system tracks all department inventory, and it is a fully functionally asset management system. The department is capable of downloading inventory to scan to a palm pilot. The system utilizes a web-based system to upload records to the main database on the web server. The property manager can then review reports of missing, scanned, or stolen property. The system is fully integrated with the FLAIR/SAMAS systems.

forms development for a Electronic Document Management System at the Florida DoR. Responsible for all scanning and processing of paper checks and the Electronic Transfer of Funds (ETF) for the State. Responsible for the State's acceptance of the system and responsible for training the State on how to add new forms. Reported all problems/questions to management on a timely basis. Responsible for a year 2000 impact study on the current EDMS at the Florida Department of Revenue. Tasks included evaluating all hardware, software, database layouts, operating systems, 3rd party products, configuration files, and all other areas that may affect the system. A recommendation was made to the state of the Y2K impact on the system. Responsible for all year 2000 modifications to the system. This included creating a Detailed Design Document and making all changes necessary for acceptance by the State.Responsible for all UNIX, NT and Windows code development, integration and modifications for the EDMS at the Florida DOR. Extensive programming experience with PERL, Oracle, C, Java and InputAccel. Continued to maintain and recommend technologies to the Florida Department of Revenue to best fit their needs. Continue to maintain all previously integrated scanners, jukeboxes, databases, custom software and off-the-shelf software in the EDMS. This included continually updating system with the latest technologies to increase the productivity of the system.

Programming consultant on small imaging projects. Wrote customer code that displayed large CAD files over the Internet in a fraction of the time. The code would break up the large CAD files into "blocks" and send to the user for viewing. The files could be viewed in blocks instead of waiting until the entire file was downloaded. This would allow for the user to start viewing the files sooner. Gained experience with document viewing techniques, tiff files, Microsoft Visual C++, and Perl.

Responsible for all UNIX, NT and Windows code development, integration and modifications for the Imaging Management System at the DOR. Wrote code to integrate and scan full page documents using the Kodak Imagelink Capture Subsystem on the Kodak 990D scanner. Wrote code to integrate and scan coupons and checks using the Unisys DP500 scanner. Also integrated IMS with the Oracle and Informix databases, Mitex ICR/OCR software, Symbus InScript software, and HP Optical Jukeboxes.
