Michael has 25 years’ experience in the education sector working in government, academic and private organisations. Prior to joining Insync Surveys in 2007, Michael worked at the Defence Science and Technology Organisation (DSTO) for seven years, and as a business and logistics specialist at RMIT University Libraries for 10 years. Michael has also worked for the ASCIS (now Curriculum Corporation), Shell Company, and City of Northcote. Today, Michael takes care of Insync Surveys’ relationship with the Council of Australian University Librarians (CAUL), where he oversees the delivery of benchmark satisfaction surveys. He has also led projects with Heads of Student Services (HoSS), Heads of Student Administration (HoSA) and numerous peak bodies, including Group of Eight (Go8) and Australian Technology Network (ATN), and Victorian Association of TAFE Libraries (VATL). Michael is in his seventh year with Insync Surveys and his clients include nearly all the universities in Australia and New Zealand, including University of Western Australia, Curtin University, University of Notre Dame, Murdoch University, West Coast Institute of Training and Great Southern Institute of Technology in Western Australia, and some internationals, including University of Southern California and University of Hong Kong. Michael also has a strong track record in providing best practice solutions to the vocational education and independent schools sectors, including Holmesglen Institute of TAFE, Chisholm Institute, Endeavour College of Natural Health, Wesley College and Melbourne Girls Grammar School.Some of Michael’s government and health sector clients include State Library of Queensland (SLQ), Victorian Government Shared Service Provider, Department of Treasury and Finance, South Australian Department of Energy, Transport and Infrastructure (DETI), Queensland Health, Barwon Health and Austin Health.Specialties: Michael builds enduring client relationships by understanding government and education clients’ needs and by helping groups collaborate to achieve continuous improvement.
