Mike is President & CEO of Eagle E&R, a Dredging & Marine Construction company. Mike and two former DuPont colleagues purchased the assets and hired the employees of Enco Dredging from Gulf Sand & Gravel in Sept. 2017. Eagle E&R merges 40+ years of Dredging and Marine construction experience with 35 years of business operations and technical experience together to form a leading edge company poised to serve the industry and clients with excellence. Mike began his career at DuPont’s Flint, Michigan Automotive Finishes plant in June 1981, after graduating from Lafayette College in Easton, PA with an electrical engineering degree. Mike progressed through a number of integrated engineering and operations roles (engineering, maintenance, power, manufacturing, employee relations) before assuming a role as a global manufacturing consultant, developing a legacy of developing and implementing high gain solutions to chronic business problems. The experiences gained provided an excellent foundation for Mike as he moved into customer focused leadership roles in marketing, product line and business management. After serving as business manager and leader of the Americas Business Team for Teflon ® FEP, Mike returned to Integrated Operations & Engineering leadership and served in various senior leadership roles (Plant Manager at Louisville and Sabine River Works, Global Director – Process Safety Management, Operations Director for the Chemicals & Polymers businesses and Global Operations Director for DuPont Performance Polymers with responsibility for world wide manufacture of engineered polymers and elastomers.
