Use techniques learned first hand to both maintain an environment suitable to learning and respectfully handle trouble situations before they can disrupt said environment. The job title was equipment manager for three years at UCA working under Bryan Allen to provide upkeep on the film and journalism hardware such as lights and cameras, as well as the development of an rental software to keep track of the equipment. Provided maintenance to the department building during the summers and went out on live filming sessions at school events, concerts, and baseball games. Inventory of old equipment and installation of new computers and hardware during the summers was also done. Gaffing and wire management, as well as camera operation during these live filming sessions was provided, using techniques such as slow zooms, pans, tilts, etc. to add a cinematic quality to these recordings.
