I created value for the customer when they increased the duration between turnovers so that oil refining production capacity could be increased without capital investment.

I learned the fundamental principles of oil refining and industrial water treatment while working at a large refinery. I monitored the effectiveness of water treatment chemicals used to control biofilm and corrosion within heat exchangers through analysis of the chemical concentrations and using electronic analyzers. Using the data collected, optimum chemical feed rate and dosage of chemicals were selected. This process included in re-programing computer-controlled dosing equipment with improved processing conditions. Conducted a complete survey on the efficiency and status of the heat exchangers within the refinery. Additionally, I developed good practices for forming strong customer-supplier relations and learned how they can result in repeat orders from a loyal customer.
