I am a passionate, hard working Chef Manager with over 15 years contract catering experience.My catering experience has come from the British Army.During my time in the military i have deployed to most of the world, where i have had teams of up to 15 chefs under my command and given the sole responsibity for the feeding and logistics of service personnel as well as civilian contractors of up to 1500 people while also having other catering commitments such as packed meals and container meals for feeding at various locations, whilst also overseeing the administrative side of the contract catering services such as; - Health & safety. - Food hygiene.- Mentoring & supporting the progression of junior team members.- Ensuring the commitment to diversity and inclusiveness within the workplace.- Taking of stock and ordering of essential supplies.- Organisation of staff schedules.- Planning & execution of emergency or out of location meals (Package & container).- Ensuring the maintenance & standards of equipment is up to regulation. (In date calibration, clean and ready to use).I have vast experience in contract catering and experience in operational management.
