Utility Service Representative
Current*1 Adjusts, regulates, cleans and repairs pilots, burners, orifices, controls and accessories on all appliances including central heat, dual fuel and air conditioning.*2. Inspects, installs and corrects appliance installations, including service, regulators, meters, meter connections, house piping, appliance and venting facilities.*3. Installs parts on appliances.*4. Accepts orders from customers for appliance parts and accessories.*5. Works a fixed shift.*6. Installs new and used appliances.*7. Delivers and returns appliances.*8. Installs, repairs and maintains gas, water, vents and other piping.*9. Has full responsibility for performing work safely and in a satisfactory manner.*10. Has responsibility of maintaining truck and tools in orderly condition; maintaining truck stock in accordance with prescribed requirements.*11. Does work of meterman, directs the work of servicemen, helper and performs other miscellaneous Customer Service work as required.*12. Inspects gas facilities on customers' premises for safety and adherence to State and Federal codes.
