Supporting Writing Systems Engineers by performing their Ink Development, Color Mapping, Ink Efficiency/Usage, Print Mode, Media & Performance testing requests for MFP/LPS (Multi-Function Printers/Light Production Systems).Assisting in Setup, Configuration, Troubleshooting of new MFP/LPS units. Executed automated test scripts using testing software programs. Installed, maintained, and used testing software programs. Contributed to establishment of standards and procedures for test program design and testing. Recommended program improvements or revisions to programmers, engineers, and system analysts. Responsible for performing Compatibility/Functional/Regression testing of multimedia projectors/peripherals and associated hardware/software/firmware to verify compliance to specifications and requirements, utilizing wide range of manufactures desktops & notebooks with MS Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000, & XP and Apple Mac OS 8.6, 9.2.1 & 10.1. Configuring workstations (including: IBM, HP, SUN, SGI, & DEC) and operating environments as needed to perform testing. Testing software/hardware releases during product development and after product release, retesting to confirm fixes as well as full regression testing. Maintaining full lifecycle bug tracking using “TRACK” Bug Reporting Software. Verifying software products installation, content, output and operation of GUI’s. Writing test procedures to verify compliance to specifications and reproduce bugs. Coordinating bug review meetings and determining test completion. Correlating and analyzing test data to be used for product improvement. Producing reports and other documentation (using MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) of test results to be used with worldwide manufacturers in identifying and resolving issues.
