I came on board as the saxophonist and background vocals but had expanded my role as their main studio engineer and media promoter. • As the live sound engineer I run sound-check, mix the show, work with establishments on overall sound levels to stay in compliance of local ordinances and finally handle tear-down and logistics.• I maintained the social media presence for the band, which included Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Bandsintown and Songkick. I created all the logos and designs for merchandise. • Through our high energy and fun-filled performances, we developed a small following in the town, who have been dubbed the Deep Fried Soldiers. The Chicken is Silent was recorded live at the Fire Station Studio in San Marcos, TX in July 2016. I mixed, mastered and released the album personally.
