My background is in Business, I've recently got done with a coding bootcamp here in SF as a way of growing my understanding of software while simultaneously teaching myself the basics of hardware.(Basic physics materials, mainly related to electromagnetism; a free intro to EE course online; plus some materials regarding logic gates, ISA's, and x86). After this I taught myself the basics of machine learning/ data analysis using Jupiter Notebooks and Python to provide analysis of data sets and to understand correlations between data.Having successfully taught myself the basics of data analysis and machine learning, I then began writing web crawling scripts using BASH C and Python to return data which I sold to financial services companies the majority of which were engaged in merchant capital. During this time period I indulged a longstanding interest in collective behavior and experimented with techniques from Walt Lippman, Edward Bernays, Jaqcues Ellul and their application to modern social media platforms. Most recently I've worked for the Miguel Hernandez campaign for Congress initially as Social Media Director and then having exceeded expectations I was promoted to assistant campaign director. I now am seeking to utilize my past experience in sales and marketing related work combined with my experience with tech related jobs and find employment in a company which is in need to tech related sales people.
