Manage operations of the Long Island Office, including direct supervision of all office outreach to Federal, State, and Local Governments as well as researching policy ideas and organizing them in a clear and concise manner to brief the Senator.Planning meetings and events for the Senator regarding legislation announcements, roundtables, and press conferences.Assist with strategic planning of the senator’s state work period appearances and events; provides feedback on opportunities for the senator to connect with constituents; plans and coordinates outreach events; and assists with other projects.

Draft correspondence to representatives of agencies on behalf of the Senator and serve as the point of contact for government offices and organizations between Suffolk and Nassau Counties.Attend local community group meetings to connect with organizations at the grassroot level and facilitate interactions between D.C. policy staff and experts in the field. Manage and hire the Long Island Intern team, train and oversee workflow

Greet and assist customers, obtain information on new prescriptions while maintaining customer confidentiality and sustaining a friendly environment Perform cash register operations including handling cash, processing payments, providing change, issuing receipts, and bagging items Participate in Computer Based Training (CBT) courses to enhance work ethic and performance Uphold HIPAA and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe and suitable work environment for employees and customers

Source and recruit volunteers through various techniques while communicating frequently with volunteers to ensure they are satisfied and well-placed. Track volunteer hours and use the data to create reports and coordinate the times and locations of any work activities. Prepare campaign materials like notices, flyers, and brochures in order to spread awareness and knowledge about the positions of the Candidate. Planning and executing events by studying demographics to best represent an area/region in order allow efficient use of resources.
