Supporting any standard TCP/IP services (DNS, FTP, POP3, SSH, SMTP...), the system runs on any convenience PC running Windows and .NET (or Mono), or Linux with Mono.

A Member of the HP Enterprise Services Organization, I have contributied as an architect and technology leader to multiple aspects of the development of HP’s Enterprise Cloud Services Messaging and Collaboration offering. This offering, the Helion Cloud Services (HCS) is an enterprise-class private cloud based on a proprietary Virtual Private Cloud solution, allowing seamlessly, quickly and securely adding or adjusting the infrastructure and its capabilities to the needs of the various enterprise applications offered as a service – in order to maintain the most cost-effective solution supporting the business needs of HP’s enterprise customers. My key contributions to the team relate to the development of a Migration Factory for the Messaging (Exchange 201x) and Collaboration (SharePoint 201x) as well as working in tight collaboration with the Unified Communications team to develop a portal and its associated automation solutions to support the Customer and the HP Support Team access to these cloud offerings. While working on these main subjects, I developed several innovative solutions to resolve unanticipated problems that have occurred during the deployment of the ECS/Helion Cloud Solution for some of our key customer accounts.

In close collaboration with C-level company executives and EVPs developed and implemented the most appropriate technology strategies to improve immediate and future company competitiveness and growth. Authored many novel ideas in the fields of enterprise, security, enterprise, systems & application architectures. Was the lead architect for two large enterprise ecommerce and incentives management web applications projects for well-known automotive customers (members of the Big Three).

Integration Architect for the NVDS (New Vehicle Distribution Strategy) project, a large multi-tier web enterprise application development effort, part of EDS GPSC IT Renewal. POMS (Production Order Management & Scheduling) Componetization project. An effort to extend the POMS application to better support GM globalization efforts using modern, cost-effective Java-based enterprise integration patterns with a web application front-end; promoting code reuse and standardization. * Conceptualized the extension of the company flagship Vantage product to offer monitoring and management of web services based enterprise applications.* Created a multi-platform (Windows, UNIX, and Linux) client Software Development Kit for Java and .NET, aimed at simplifying the integration of various legacy programs into Enterprise Applications. In offering a socket-based, a DLL, a COM+ / Automation and a Managed DLL module the kit provided a great interfacing flexibility - allowing older programs (Mainframe, UNIX, Linux, and Windows) to operate seamlessly and securely in the Enterprise Application supported by a JBoss-based software bus.* Contributed several product improvements in Compuware EcoTOOLS and its successor Server Vantage products.

* Corrected all the Y2K problems in a very complex, proprietary administrative & accounting program: Tape Library & Scheduling System for the company Producer Colors Services in Southfield, MI under extreme timing constraints, after two previous failed attempts by teams from competing companies.* Completed the software design specifications for ZipForms 5.1 for the company CBF, Sterling Heights, MI in a very tight time frame.* Completed the Y2K testing of UNIX-based mid-range and mainframe platforms (Siemens Pyramid, SUN, HP, ...). Wrote C/C++ software to test the firmware, the operating system and the applications on various platforms with minimal porting for the IRS in Detroit.* Completed testing on multi-tiered, client-server database applications where the source is not available.

* Head the electronics engineering & design team as well as the software & systems team. * Setup an electronics subdivision for EGS, Inc.* Implemented an integrated multi-protocol UNIX/PC network (TCP/IP, SPX/IPX and UUCP)* Implemented LAN/WAN, Intranet & Internet company-wide network.* Setup a homogeneous redundant network system with secured subnets and direct interconnection to Ford (EGS was a Tier-1 supplier to Ford). * Supervised the setup of ISO900x - QS900x, QSAS quality management procedures for the electronics and software department.* Authored a proprietary system for self-aligning vehicle headlamps (US patent 5,633,710).

* Completed the design of cellular spread-spectrum RF transceivers for wireless networks. * Designed a digital sound input device for PC and compatibles (code name Parrot, sold as SoundMan) for the company Logitech. * Designed the hardware and the software for sound and graphics interfaces (multimedia-digital TV) for PC clones and Apple MacIntosh systems. * Made major contributions in the redesign of a unique electrical CAD software package: SAWS, while consulting for the company Wire Graphics. * Setup and supported several PC-based UNIX (Mark Williams Coherent, XENIX, …) systems and integrated (via TCP/IP networking) them in the back-end with UNIX server(s) [mainly HP (HP/UX) and DEC (Ultrix)]; and the DOS/Windows front-end PCs. This (for the connoisseur…), at the time (1990-94) was no small challenge!...* Became very involved in Linux “hacking” – (kernels 0.9x and later…). Used mostly Slackware, Debian and RH.

* Developed two video/graphic subsystems for the Commodore Amiga and IBM PC computers. Designs included extensive DSP and Digital Television techniques.

* Supervised company operations with full P/L responsibility while also assuming the management of all R&D activities. * Setup a VMS-based and a (DEC) UNIX based Cluster with high-speed interconnection system to four CIG1100 systems for database modeling and advanced 3D rendering. These systems were used to produce artificial 3D visual effects and pictures for the movie industry at unparalleled speeds. Systems where a mix of DEC-VAX & micro-VAX, SGI and HP systems * Multiplied the company income by almost 3 between 1986 and 1988. Manufactured and customized Real-time 3D Image Generators (CIG 1100) for tank, flight simulators and other scientific applications including virtual reality.* Completed the integration of real-time image generators (CIG1100) in tank simulator (M1A1 Abrahams). * Customers included Honeywell, TSC-Westinghouse, Edwards AFB, MIT and NTSC...
