Process included reviewing 10 different WMS/TMS vendors and software. Manage US and International Transportation and Logistics Operations. Negotiate annual freight contracts with UPS, FEDEX, DHL, LTL and TL vendors realizing annual savings of 2 to 3 million dollars.  Developed, implemented and manage best-of-breed Document Workflow Systems for Transportation and Customer Service.  Negotiate annual systems and support contracts for Pearson global applications and WMS systems.

Implemented and managed Distribution Systems and Technology in two US and one Canadian distribution facility. Implemented and interfaced a standalone TMS system with current WMS system. Developed transportation reporting output utilizing data produced by TMS system. Managed pick pack and shipping operations in NY distribution center. One direct report and 100 operational staff.
